I always dreamed about playing a Les Paul that didn't require back surgery afterwards... and here it is. First of all, this is a stripped down guitar, no bells and wistles here. For me, that's a plus. Weights only 3 kg, and that's great. But... is it a "real" Les Paul? Well, short answer is no. Although it has the same pickups as my Les Paul Custom, this guitar sounds different. Sound wise, it sits in the middle of my bulky Custom and my light SG 61 reissue with Burstbuckers, a guitar I love, and weights the same. But this Lite has it's own character, not so mid-ranged as the custom, not so harsh at top end as the SG. It's an absolute workhorse that sounds fantastic. The finishes are just ok, not top quality but fine , and it gets glitches easily if you accidentally hit the guitar. The only con here is it's price. It would have been an absolutely killer guitar at 800 euros range. Does it worth? It depends... I absolutely love it and it fits me perfectly, handling and sound wise. And it has it's own character that I like, she shouldn't have an inferiority complex towards her older sister, it's a good guitar on it's own. They say the price of an item is not really what it costs, but how much are you willing to pay for it. I payed it's overpriced value, but I will never regret!
