Sennheiser HD 550

Son : très neutre et équilibré. Aucune coloration, bonne étendue dans les graves (en-dessous de 32Hz) sans "bosse". Bonne restitution spatiale.
Confort: bon, mais j'ai connu des oreillettes plus douces et surtout un arceau moins dur pour les crânes dégarnis.
Qualité: convenable, mais le câble dit amovible n'est pas monté avec des connecteurs standards, dommage.
Sources : l'impédance relativement basse et la bonne sensibilité permettent de brancher ce casque sur un smartphone, à condition de ne pas vouloir le faire hurler.
Bilan : excellent casque pour l'écoute (classique, jazz) et la postproduction (absence de coloration notable et large spectre ; meilleur que le DT900 pro X pour cet usage), pour un prix décent. Vivement recommandé.

I originally bought these because I wanted to switch from IEM/earbuds to headphones for better comfort, but these didn't work for me at all. The clamping force felt quite strong, and even after using them on and off for about a month, I never got used to the pressure. I also started feeling some jaw discomfort/pain, which made it difficult to wear them for longer sessions.

The Sound presentation wasn't something I could get used to. It didn't feel natural, and a lot of things sounded completely off to my ears. The higher frequencies came across as sharp, irritating, and tiring, even after trying to adjust them with EQ. Listening with them became exhausting, which defeated the whole purpose of switching to headphones for comfort...

in terms of build, the plastic made noticeable creaking noise when putting them on/off. I also noticed that the earpads developed a greenish taint after the headphones had been stored unused in their box for several months which was disappointing it hasn't even been a year..

Overall, these headphones didn't meet my expectations in comfort, sound, or build quality. This is just my personal experience. I even tried giving them to friends/family, but everyone who tried them commented on the clamp and didn't want to keep them. They have been sitting unused in their box for months now, and honestly, I would send them back even without a refund if that were possible, because I have no use for them and they are just taking up space. Für mich persönlich ist der HD 550 zum absoluten Lieblingskopfhörer für Gaming, TV und Musikhören geworden. Ich habe mehrere Sennheiser-Kopfhörer im unmittelbaren Vergleich getestet, so z.B. den HD 620S, den HD 560S und den HD 660S2 aber keiner konnte mich derart überzeugen wie der HD 550. Höchstens der HD 490 Pro kommt annähernd an die Klangtiefe dieses Kopfhörers heran. Die Klangbühne ist unglaublich offen und weit. Gerade beim Gaming nimmt man Umgebungsgeräusche und Details wahr, die von anderen Kopfhörern einfach verschluckt werden. Zugleich entsteht eine Räumlichkeit, die einen tief in das Geschehen zieht und eine Immersion erzeugt, wie ich sie noch bei keinem anderen Kopfhörer erlebt habe. Mit Sicherheit gibt es Vertreter, die wuchtiger klingen, aber wer einmal in den Realismus dieses Kopfhörers eingetaucht ist, dem wird danach alles andere dumpf und übersteuert erscheinen. Hier sitzen die Bässe genau an den richtigen Stellen und auch alle anderen Ebenen sind einfach nur perfekt abgestimmt. Mein persönliches Hörverhalten wurde von den HD 550 komplett auf den Kopf gestellt. Für Gamer, vor allem mit Singleplayer-Vorliebe, eine unbedingte Kaufempfehlung. Aber auch TV-Streaming und Musik werden zum absoluten Genuss. Hört ihn euch mal an!
