Packed punch!

The critical drummer 20.01.2023

Yamaha's Recording Custom series speaks for itself, but as with many other things these days, it's often hard to come across a ware and trying it out extensively first before buying it..

The good news is, even though you may not be able to do that, that you probably will not be disappointed!

The drums from this series all share the same property, which pretty much boils down to: "you can make them sound exactly the way you want, if you know what you're doing". Is that a big compliment/statement? I'm just an amateur but will vouch for it (having tried 10,12,13,14,16 and 20 inch power toms).

You will definitely notice that these drums have much more tone and (if desired) long hanging resonance if need be. I tuned mine to have quite a pitch bend, but even so the drums still maintain a LOT of resonance.

I will never need another drumkit after having switched to this series.
