Theo Wanne Durga V Baritone 6* Gold

I bought this on a bit of a whim a bit bonkers I know but I had done some research into this mouthpiece and the general reviews of it were all extremely positive. I had been playing on a Vandoren V16 B9 but found this far too open for most purposes. This certainly did not disappoint. I initially sounded the mouthpiece not attached to the baritone and noticed instantly the response and speed it has. I put it on my baritone which is a good few years old now and it truly has given it a new lease of life. The upper register to low A is clear and fast in response. I have used a Legere French cut 2.5 on it and a Java green 2.5 both of which are excellent and respond well. I am very happy with my purchase and pleased I just went for it. The only issue now is I want one on all my saxophones.

Für mein Yani Bari Sax BWO-20 war ich auf der Suche nach einem guten Mundstück, mit dem man das Bari so richtig in Schwingung versetzen kann und das Tief A entsprechend kommt.
Versuche mit Jody Jazz extra dark und anderen Mundstücken brachten nicht das gewünschte Ergebnis.
Der Druchbruch kam, als ich ein Video von Leo P. sah und mich fragte, was für ein Mundstück er spielt?
Das Theo Wanne Durga Baritone... Bei Thomann schnell bestellt und ich bin überglücklich damit.
Spricht super an, man kann mit ihm Gas geben und das Sax schwingt unglaublich damit. Pianissimo auch kein Problem.
Vermutlich das beste Bari Mundstück auf dem Markt?
Der Preis? Völlig absurd hoch. Aber, wenn es passt, dann passt es eben und so ein Metallmundstück hält für die Ewigkeit.
Einzig das Zahnschonergummi von Theo Wanne ist mir etwas zu hart. Da im Mundstück aber eine spezielle Aussparung frei ist, passen da nur die von Theo rein. habe einfach ein schwarzes, dickeres drübergeklebt. Geht auch.

Durga to nie tylko estetyczny dodatek, ale ponadczasowe doznania muzyczne, bo od pierwszych dźwięków jest jakby dobrze znany, brzmienie od razu pełne i przyjemne. Dla mnie osobiście trochę jak biżuteria i już od pierwszego wejrzenia budzi zachwyt. Dźwięk pełny, ciepły i bogaty w harmoniczne, co więcej można mu "dołożyć" powietrza i wtedy "gada" jak szalony - niesamowita przyjemność. (chyba wkrótce kupię także do tenoru, bo barytonowy po prostu wymiata).

ps. Wyjmowanie tego ustnika z futerału to taki mój mały rytuał. Tak, cena wysoka i dlatego to mój symbol pasji i miłości do dźwięków które nadejdą za "chwilę".

(wybrałem 6* i gram na stroikach twardości 2,5-3; dla mnie 6* dużo łatwiej gra niż 8 które jest dość ciemne, a 7* nie było dostępne)
