This guitar, at this price point, has flaws that require further intervention.
1. Poorly drilled pickup cavities
I had to fill the holes and drill new ones.
2. Fretboard top markers
I've never seen such poorly executed fretboard markers. They used phosphorescent dots that barely glow, only 2mm in size, and not made of white phosphor. In a dark room, the markers are completely invisible—it's embarrassing. I’ll have to take the guitar to a tech who can drill larger holes and install white phosphor or white plastic markers. As it stands, it's unusable.
3. Electronics
No complaints here—I didn’t even test the stock electronics. I removed everything and installed new pickups, a new switch, and new pots.
4. Locking tuners
Some of them have noticeable play, which doesn’t happen even on cheap Harley Benton locking tuners. So far they’re holding up, but we’ll see how long they last.
5. Frets
They’re over-leveled, but at least they’re straight. No buzzing and good intonation. Just need to adjust the action, possibly switch to a set of 10s. The original strings were 10–46 plus a 62 for the lowest string.
6. Woodwork and finish
Seems fine overall, but I expected a more pronounced top. The photo was misleading—it’s much darker in person.
7.It's Made in China
Overall, I’m disappointed. Given the issues, this guitar should be priced under €600. But once I get everything sorted, it’ll be fine
