Kramer Guitars SM-1 H Shockwave Purple

After years of playing with Gibson style guitars it was time for me to buy my first guitar with a Floyd.
What a surprise when I picked up this guitar for the first time (after a full set up)! Very easy to play and confortable, the one I received is flawless of default (just a rest of polishing paste inside the serial number, some other brand have way worse than this).

To resume it in few points

Pro:
- Quality/price ratio
- Neck-through-body (for this price it is not that commun)
- Neck - body jonction
- Ebony fretboard which is beautiful on mine
- Duncan SH-4, love it or hate it but an amazing one for hard rock and heavy metal in my opinion
- The look 😍

Con:
- The set up right out of the box was terrible but if you know how to do it, that’s nothing terrible.
- Packaging is trash… just a carton box and few pieces of foam to protect it…guys really? Not even a big bag ? (But then the packaging from Thomann was very nice so thank you Thomann 🙂)
- The single Humbucker with just 1 volume is very limiting the guitar but at the same time if you buy something like this you should already know that.
- series/parallel fonction, totally useless in my opinion.

Will I buy it again yes, it is really a killer axe for the price but, please Kramer, add a bag for the guitar at least, that is for me the only reason that is not a full 5/5 stars review
