Jargar Evoke Cello Strings 4/4

By a comfortable margin the best set of strings I tested so far.
Compared to the classical Larsen soloist A and D and spirocore G and C combo I ran for years, these new Jargars are an upgrade in pretty much all departments. Better volume and projection, a little easier to play. The tone is still quite similar but they seem to better keep their brightness in the higher register. All 4 strings are very even in volume and tone, where I had to work harder on the Larsen D to bring it in line with the others.
Now I just hope that they will last for some time, but so far I'm impressed.
