excellent vibrato

Acheté pour remplacer un floyd rose special sur une Rhoads JS32. J'avais du le caler en dive only car il était incapable de tenir l'accord. Le remplacement a été facile, car les dimensions sont identiques. J'ai enfin un vibrato flottant qui tient parfaitement l'accord. Je touche quasiment plus aux fine tuners tellement il est stable.
Je n'ai pas un fluter très long, mais je soupçonne que c'est parce que j'ai gardé les pivots d'origine pour tester rapidement le gotoh. Mais je vais effectuer la modif complète maintenant que je suis totalement convaincu de la qualité.

Acheté en remplacement d'un Floyd Rose Special qui montrait des signes de fatigue. J'ai conservé les inserts d'origine car non usés et correspondants parfaitement en terme de dimensions.
La stabilité de l'accordage est grandement améliorée et le retour au point 0 parfait. De plus le niveau de finition est bien supérieur à un FR Special.

Perfect double locking trem

Well, this is a first time I installed this Gotoh trem, instead of usual OFR, FR1000, or Ibanez plethora of Edges.
It outperforms every mentioned double locking trem, except Schaller Lockmeister. Keep in mind, I am referring to Schaller LOCKMEISTER, with printed logo, not Schaller LOCKING with ingraved logo.
The only downside of this trem is it only comes for 14" radius fretboard guitars, most of mine are 12" or 16" radius fretboards. Schaller Lockmeister on their site can be configured for any nut size, nut radius, and trem radius. I really don't know if Gotoh can adopt that style of sale. But it stays in tune forever, flutters like crazy, dive bombs, pulling up, and still being in tune. Hats off!

A Fantastic FR type Tremolo

This is a classic! Outstanding quality (as you'd expect from a Japan made Gotoh), amazing tuning stability, a direct drop-in for my Jackson Performer from the 90's. There is nothing to complain about, honestly! If you want to transform your guitar into a more premium type of instrument, this is the budget friendly choice with no alternatives. Just make sure it measures correctly to you current FR type tremolo. If you want a locking nut from Gotoh as well, you gotta buy it separately.

If you are interested to upgrade your instrument and you happen to have an HSH pickup layout, I can absolutely recommend buying a PAF Pro for the bridge, Chopper in the middle and Humbucker from hell for the neck. Its an amazingly versatile set that can play anything from metal to jazz. Try it out, and thank me later!
