Que du Bon !

Le vibrato de ma vieille RG370DX ayant rendu l'âme (oui, le Edge III est le seul point faible de cette gratte !), j'ai pris le GE1996T en remplacement.
Après des mois de squeals, dives et maltraitance amoureuses,

IL NE BRONCHE PAS !
Et je redécouvre ma vieille amie qui retrouve toute sa hargne, avec un accordage qui tient toujours comme au premier jour.
Donc je ne peux que le recommander si vous voulez ressusciter votre guitare ou remplacer le vibrato d'origine en MIEUX.

PS : Prevoir du bricolage pour agrandir la cavité sur certaines grattes.

even better than Floyd Rose and even Schaller. And the cost is about HALF. Even at the SAME cost as Floyd Rose, the Gotoh would STILL be superior to the FR and any trems I have seen. But at these prices these are an absolute steal. I don't understand how people spend twice as much to get actually an inferior product. This is not to say that Floyd Rose or Schaller aren't good, they are. But Gotoh hardware kills everything BOTH for quality AND for cost. It's made in Japan to the highest standards. I have both Floyd Rose and Gotoh trems on my guitars, and am a pro on electric and classical guitar, so I am not just shooting my mouth off. The only problem is that the Gotoh has slightly longer back screws, BUT fortunately it fits fine on my guitars! Some people have to mill slightly the part on the back of the arm. But it's worth it! The whole thing really exudes the highest quality, the finish, the feel, the stability. And another thing, I bought several Gotoh parts, not just trems, and again the quality is second to none.

Better than Floyd rose?

I really must say I am beyond happy with this tremolo. Straight out of the box you can instantly feel the quality of it based on the feel and weight of it surpass that of the Floyd rose special.

I love how that the blocks that keep the string in place can't fall out of the bridge upon unscrewing the bolts and frankly I must say it is genius. As well as that you don't need to worry about the tremolo arm becoming loose because the whammy bar screws directly into the bridge. It's clear gotoh made this bridge with the player in mind.

The one woe I have with this product is the fact that the studs that the bridge pivots on are larger than the holes in most guitars but it's not a major issue because you can just drop the bridge right into the guitar with little to no invasive procedure.

Honestly for the price you couldnt ask for a better bridge. I've definitely spent more on less!
