Right out of the box, what strikes you is how effortlessly clean and transparent the sound is. These monitors don’t mask anything... The detail, clarity, and precision are absolutely exceptional.
The monitors present the music with remarkable clarity and precision. They reveal very clearly if a mix is good or bad!
I produce mainly disco, house and indie dance, and for this they're outstanding.
High frequencies are crisp and detailed without any harshness, the mids are open and natural (feels almost like a 3-way monitor) , and the low end is tight and controlled, giving you a full picture without exaggeration. This makes it much easier to make mixing decisions that translate well to other systems because you’re hearing what’s truly there, not what the monitors want you to hear.
In a 13 m² (140 sq ft) studio room like mine, they’re perfectly matched , the stereo image is precise, the depth and detail are easy to place in the mix, and there’s just enough low-end weight to judge bass without it being exaggerated. If I was working in a larger room, I’d definitely would add a sub to extend the low frequencies further, but in a smaller room these monitors stand strong on their own - as they should, for this price range.
For my workflow and room size, they’ve been a huge asset: clean, revealing, and reliable, a reference-quality monitor that truly helps you make better mixes without ear fatigue.
The only minor drawback is that, at this price level, cables and the Focus Mode footswitch are not included.
