After weeks of eagerly awaiting arrival of the guitar, I can't describe the absolute shock of the condition of it. The paintwork was scratched behind the headstock, the screws for the pickups were rusted and the paintwork on the body was covered in what looked like buffer marks. This is nothing short of disgraceful. I sold an excellent guitar (LTD EC-1000) to help towards funding the Arrow 1000 and I'm devastated that I let it go for this. Thomann have been very helpful regarding a return/replacement but I decided to just get a refund due to the chance of it happening again.

Another terrible experience with esp guitars

Today I received my new ESP LTD Arrow 1000 EverTune. I am very disappointed with the quality of this guitar, and honestly with the quality of ESP guitars in general.
This is my second attempt to buy an ESP LTD Arrow. A year ago I bought an Arrow Black Metal, and I returned it immediately.
This guitar has several problems:
Light polishing marks or stains all over the body. The guitar has a glossy finish, so they are very noticeable.
The tuning machines on the headstock are installed crooked.
The pickups are not mounted straight.
And there is no grounding in the electronics.
So, a guitar that costs around $1,800 came out of the box with obvious cosmetic defects and is completely unplayable because of the electronics.
The Arrow Black Metal I bought last year was no better, maybe even worse. The neck had been painted black (I have no idea why). There was a chip on the fretboard, and the Floyd Rose 1000 would not return to its neutral position after use, so it would go sharp or flat. On top of that, I could not even plug in a guitar cable because the output jack had been installed at the wrong angle.
I don't know why the quality is so bad. I bought both guitars with a very big discount from Thomann. Maybe they were from a bad production batch, or maybe the quality of ESP guitars has really gone downhill.
I have owned LTD guitars since 2008, including a Viper-50 and an M-1000. Both the cheap and the expensive one were excellent and had no problems at all, unlike these last two guitars.

Solides Metalbrett

Da ich hauptsächlich ST-Style-Gitarren mit EMG-Pickups spiele, wollte ich mal was anderes haben. Also habe ich ich für die Arrow mit den Fishman-Pickups entschieden. Die Gitarre kam gut verpackt bei mir an. Die Verarbeitung der Gitarre ist okay. Hab schon besseres, aber auch schon deutlich schlechteres gesehen. Einzig die Ausfräsung der Klinkenbuchse ist ein wenig unsauber und die Spitze am Headstock ist ein wenig unsauber. Das sind für mich aber keine Gründe, die Gitarre wieder zurück zu schicken. Der Rest ist gut verarbeitet. Sachen wie, schief angebrachte Mechaniken, oder Flecken auf dem Lack, habe ich zum Glück nicht.

Zur Bespielbarkeit: Die Gitarre lässt sich super spielen. Der Hals ist sehr dünn, aber dennoch sehr komfortabel zu spielen. Was ich sehr cool finde ist, dass der Hals in mattschwarz lackiert ist. Das finde ich immer deutlich angenehmer als Hochglanzlack, da der Hals dann nicht so an der Hand "klebt".

Zum Ton: Die Fishman-Pickups haben einen guten Sound und sind sehr druckvoll. Ideal für Metal. Durch die Push/Pull-Funktion, kann die Gitarre auch sanftere Töne spielen. Wenn ich die Pickups mit EMGs vergleiche (z.B. 81er), haben die EMG-Pickups noch einen bisschen mehr Druck, was ich persönlich besser finde. Aber das ist ja Geschmackssache.

Alles in allem hat man hier ein solides Metalbrett mit einem guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

W moim przypadku gitara dotarła bez większych wad a to ponoć nie jest takie oczywiste nawet w tej klasie, u mnie drobmostka polegająca na poluzowanej śrubce gniazda jack, za cene w promocji warto zaryzykować. Cienkie struny w standard E nawet dawały radę ale u mnie po paru dniach wymiana na 10-52 i strój standard D, zszedłem z akcją strun do 1,25-1,75 bez większych regulacji gryfu, właściwie tylko regulacja evertune - w cenie promocyjnej fishmany i evertune, stalowe progi to jest nie do pobicia, co więcej kolega na thomann day kupił również jedną, nie zgłosił mi żeby było u niego coś nie tak, zakładam że jest ok a niedługo robimy porównanie naszych egzemplarzy jak cos wyjdzie dopisze, największą wada ale nie samej gitary to brak dedykowanego case, gitara jest duża i ciężko dobrać do niej case, bede za pare dni testował zamiennik zobaczymy czy spasuje bo oryginał jest w zaporowej cenie
