Eich Amplification T300

Usage pour la maison.
C'est léger et très bien fini. on notera sa date de naissance apposée au dessous de l'outil..
Aucun son parasite
C'est impressionnant ce que peut rendre ce petit appareil comparé à mon Hartke A100.
sa puissance est très largement suffisante.
Les réglages sont très fins.
je suis donc très satisfait!!!

I hesitated slightly before buying the T300 as my previous amp was rated 500 watts. However it proved itself totally on its first outing in a large 300 capacity marquee on a pro stage! I play in a rock band with two loud guitarists & a drummer and was running the master no higher than the ten to mark! The 300 watt rating seems conservative as this is a loud amp and I had no problem hearing myself through my 212s cab. All controls flat as I have an active bass running through a floor pre-amp so tend to use these for tonal adjustments but the amp has a really warm natural sound and does exactly what I need it to offering extremely fast & punchy delivery! Together with the solid German build quality I can highly recommend this head!

I tried a lof of bass amp heads, yes i am the idiot that orders 5-8 bass amps at once to try at home because i am too lazy to drive 2-4 hours in my car,

In terms of build quality there are 2 brands on top: EICH, EBS and Ashdown, they live in a seperate category compared and is no comparison to other brands i tried: GR, Ampeg, Markbass, fender, trace elliot.

I tried all of them with different cabs.

It is easy to dail in, silent, sounds good. Its a clean amp and very flat sounding, less sub heavy then a markbass and ampeg for example, No honk or grunt like some other bass amps have...

I tried most EICH combos, cabs (1x10,2x10,1x15) and amps
Taste is VERY subjective, but 1 critisim i have with EICH is that it lacks spice and character.

Most bass amps have a certain charistic honk in high and or low mids or a certain sub low quality, but EICH amps/combos dont have that, its very flat. Despite that, with eich amps/combo's you can hear yourself quite well in a band situation.

Personally i choose a different brand, but its a matter of taste, try a few out yourself, see what you like. :-)

Das Wichtigste vorab: der Sound! Unglaublich klar, unglaublich druckvoll und absolut ausdrucksstark. Die EQ-Sektion arbeitet hocheffizient und mit dem "Taste"-Regler lassen sich stufenlos wohlklingende Voicings, von furztrocken bis effektvoll angehaucht, aus dem Amp kitzeln. Dabei bleibt das Signal aber stets transparent und dynamisch. So etwas sucht man bei den meisten anderen Bassheads vergeblich. Die 300W Leistung reichen fürs Proben und kleinere Gigs - wenns größer wird, läuft in den meisten Fällen ja eh alles über die PA.
Der DI-Out (wahlweise vor oder nach EQ schaltbar) gibt ein fantastisch klingendes, sauberes Signal aus, das direkt fürs Recording oder Live-Applikationen verwendet werden kann. Das Mikrofonieren einer Box kann man sich damit wirklich sparen, die Anbringung der Buchse an der Vorderseite ist aber eher suboptimal und damit komme ich zu den Punkten, die durchaus verbesserungsfähig sind.
Spätestens dann, wenn man seinen Eich in ein Rack einbaut (Rackmounts separat erhältlich), merkt man, dass das Layout mancher Elemente nicht so richtig zu Ende gedacht wurde. Ich sprach den DI-Out an: dieser wäre an der Rückseite besser aufgehoben. Es gibt zwar rückseitig einen Lineout, dieser trägt aber nur das unbehandelte Signal. Ebenso wäre ein Instrumenteneingang an der Rückseite gut gewesen, stattdessen hat man nun bis zu zwei Kabel vorderseitig rumbaumeln - für Fans einer sauberen Rackoptik ist das natürlich nix.
Dafür ist aber hinten der Powerknopf angebracht, und das ist nun wirklich sehr ungeschickt gelöst. Denn sobald der Head im Rack verbaut ist, kommt man, bis auf den T-1000 der den Schalter vorne hat, natürlich nicht mehr an den Powerknopf heran. Man ist nun gezwungen, den Amp dauerhaft auf "on" zu lassen und ihn über einen Power Conditioner oder die (oh je) Steckerleiste zu schalten. Laut einem Vertriebsmitarbeiter der Firma Eich ist das zwar kein Problem (Mute-Schalter ein und Master Volume auf 0), aber dennoch alles andere als gut gelöst.
Fazit: Der Eich T-300 ist und bleibt ein exzellent klingender Allrounder made in Germany für Studio- und Livebetrieb mit nur leichten Abzügen in der B-Note.
