Daddario PW-CT-29 Nexxus Tuner Vc & Db

Nice little gadget but non-intuitive to adjust. Tried it on an electric 4 string bass on the head with a TC Polytuner Clip alongside, it reads the same and the display is attractive, the buttons are ok, overall feel is cheap, clip seems good enough though. And, adjusting the reference tuning to 440 was difficult, pushing the buttons in time made it there eventually. No manual.

Fully charged battery when arrived.

I also have a TC Polytuner 2 floor model for intonation work, and above mentioned Polytuner Clip. The latter has a non-intuitive button combination too, used to it now anyway, and it auto power off too early. The look of Polytuner is very good and single string tuning works well but it is a disaster to handle. Some ignorant designer put the power on button at the shortest side. When the tuner is put angled which I guess is what everyone's do it's crazy hard to push the tiny button without slipping, combine this with too early shut down... I don't like it at all, mildly put! Had to let out some steam.

Put the Daddario PW-CT-29 on the bridge of the electric bass and the readings went totally off, back to head reading was ok.

Have not tried charging the Daddario PW-CT-29.
