The perfect drumhead!

The perfect snare head for me. Even when I use thicker tom heads (Deep Vintage), the single ply Medium Vintage is just the right head for my 14x4.5" Maple Mahogany snare. The coating is indestructible.

Killer Tone

I have a shallow floor tom on my main kit so I wasn't quite able to get that boom I was looking for without killing the tone altogether. Decided to try these after some research and barely had to tighten a turn before I got exactly what I was looking for. Great low open sound.

Hervorragendes Fell für Ludwig Supraphonic

Dieses Fell war für mich ein kleines Experiment, da für meine 70er Supraphonic Snare ein Fellwechsel anstand und ich schauen wollte, wie das Modern Vintage im Vergleich zu Aquarians Texture coated auf meiner Snare klingt. Habe das Fell im mittleren bis hohen Tuning auf die Snare gezogen und mich direkt verliebt. Ich bin zwar immer noch ein großer Fan vom simplen Texture coated (zumindest für meine anderen Snares), aber ich habe den Eindruck, dass das Modern Vintage Coated für meine Supraphonic einfach perfekt passt.
Verarbeitung hervorragend wie bei allen Aquarian-Fellen, die ich bisher hatte. Zur Haltbarkeit des coatings kann ich noch nichts sagen, da das Fell für mich neu ist, aber es ist etwas smoother als bei anderen Aquarian coated Fellen.

Letztendlich kann ich nur bewerten, wie es für mich auf meiner Snare klingt - aber ich bin begeistert von meinem neuen Snaresound.
