I have used the speaker set with a Shure SM58 mic and acoustic and electric guitars. I can say that the mixer works very well. The only thing I noticed is that the volume needs to be increased quite a lot to start with - there is no gradual increase, you need to crank it up so that it is heard. I have used it inside and outside, in the blazing sun. It works well, a great workhorse. Overall, fantastic quality. Another small thing - when the volume is cranked up, there is a subtle hiss from the speakers, I think it is normal.
