Nice sound

Warm and stable sound, similar to the famous Selmer C* , but more open (obviously), so it gives more space for flexibility and expressivity. Great quality and good choice for playing not too loud, but with more character.

fits my needs

as I mostly play tenor and swap to soprano during concerts for single parts it was not easy to find a mouthpiece where i don't need to play a bit to get my wanted sound.
I could do that with my former Selmer S80 C** .
but as i wanted to push the sound a bit more a tryed this one due to a recommendation.
was a good choice.
as easy to play and direct response that my older one and possible to force a bit more volume in the sound.

very nice mouthpiece

i'k using this as an alternate to a vandoren optima sl4 and warburton j55. it isn't as powerful as the warburton, but a bit brighter sounding than the vandoren and has a very nice response. it gives me another option for different styles of playing and different venues.

Endlich das Richtige gefunden!

Nach längerer Suche und Ausprobieren diverser Mundstücke von Meyer, Vandoren, Yamaha, Otto Link und Selmer (auch S80 C* und C**) jetzt endlich das richtige Mundstück für mich als Oldtime Jazzer: warmer Ton und direkte Ansprache, problemloses Intonieren bei nur mäßigem Ansatzdruck mit Vandoren Java Stärke 2,5 . Im Vergleich zu z.B. Otto Link Mundstücken braucht man einfach viel weniger Luft und spielt dadurch wesentlich entspannter! Für mich ist das Mundstück absolut empfehlenswert!!
