What a shock!

I don’t how to express how I felt when I heard the sound of this unit. What a difference! Coming from an UAD interface, there is no turning back. I was a bit concerned about TotalMix FX after some of the comments I have read, but it is really easy to understand once you get the right starting point.
I highly recommend this unit. The ARC USB controller is important to control the volume of the main outputs and of the headphones.

so, its really hard to learn it, but once you get used to it, and learn it, its a whole new world.
the sound coming from this is extremely clean and good.
the only thing its lacking is an analog 1/2 volume knob (the output for the speakers)

Das FF 802 FS AE kommt bei mir als Interface und Verteilstation auf alle möglichen weiteren Verbraucher zum Einsatz. Vorgeschaltet ist ein ADI 2 Pro als Wandler des eingehenden Mikrophonsignals. Vorher hatte ich das FF 802 und dachte nicht, daß der Unterschied zum FS so krass sein könnte. Eine bessere AD-Wandlung kann ich bestätigen. Die beiden KH-Ausgänge auf der Front sind um etliche Klassen besser als beim Vorgänger. Die Arbeit über meine Lautsprecher (Sky Audio "Verdade 3") macht nochmal mehr Spaß als vorher. Und das Erscheinungsbild passt hervorragend zu meinem übrigen sehr analogen dunklen Geräten im Rack. Für ernsthafte Studioarbeit und für das Geld ein echter no-brainer. RME.
