As an owner of the PRS Holcomb SE, I already knew I loved the sound of this guitar. Since both models share the same pickups, the core tone feels familiar: tight, clear, aggressive and very versatile. Both models also share the same neck profile and amazing playability.
Where this USA/Core version really stands out is the craftsmanship. The lutherie work, finish, assembly and setup are absolutely flawless. Everything feels more refined, more precise and more inspiring to play, with the playability clearly a tone above. It is expensive, but the quality difference is obvious, and for me it is worth the money.
