Magma Solid Blaze Vinyl Bag

I waited a long time hoping that Magma would finally make a comfortable record bag. The worst part is that they actually did make a comfortable bag — but then made it out of material so poor that the coating starts peeling before the bag is even properly used.

I paid around €150 for this bag, put my records inside, and had not even taken it anywhere yet. The coating had already started coming off around the edges, like cheap fake leather. This is not normal wear and tear. This is poor material quality from the start.

I contacted Thomann support about it, and even the person I spoke to told me that the same thing had happened to the carrying handle on his own bag almost immediately. So this does not seem like a random one-off defect — it looks like a serious material problem.

After spending this much money, I do not feel like I bought a professional DJ bag. I feel like I bought overpriced garbage. At this point, the only thing I feel like doing with it is throwing it away.

The design is good, but the execution and material quality are a complete failure. For this price, this is absolutely unacceptable.

Vorweg:
ganz netter Aspekt; da nachhaltig aus 75-80 recycelten PET-Flaschen, eine Tasche gefertigt wird.

Die Tasche ist kleiner als ich Sie mir vorgestellt habe, der Platz ist eher knapp bemessen, die Seitentaschen könnten ruhig etwas größer sein ; meine AIAIAI TMA-2 DJ passen seitlich grad so mit Mühe rein, (wenn man seine Kopfhörer nicht bauartbedingt umklappen kann)

Vorne das Laptopfach ist ebenfalls etwas zu klein geraten, wenn man nicht gerade das allerneueste macbook hat.. das gefällt mir leider nicht.
Gut jedoch finde ich jedoch diese zwei Magnetpunkte vorne die schön überlappen!

Hauptfach:
Es passen ca. 40 bis max 45 Vinyls rein (je nach Dicke der Hülle natürlich)

Fazit:
Handling und Verarbeitung ist gut, es macht Spaß die Tasche zu tragen, die Reißverschlüsse lassen sich gut zumachen und der Griff oben ist sehr robust.

Schlusswort:
Früher waren dj Taschen viel geräumiger als heutzutage...
