La Bella 760F-MUS Deep Talkin Bass

I ordered the LaBella "made for Mustang bass" to be used with my brand new Squier Mustang Bass Classic Vibe.

Length of the strings was perfect (that's usually the problem with short scale basses strings).

The HUGE problem was the tone of the E string. A/D/G strings were perfect. The E string however didn't match at all the tone of the other 3. It was as if it was even tuned correctly to E when playing a scale on E/A/D strings.

With tone OFF, that was less hearable but with tone 100% the difference was huge (worse than imagining the E was 0% tone while other 3 were 100% tone).

So disappointed from such a usually good brand Labella, for a string set specifically designed for my bass model.

While looking on the web for the problem, I came accross some posts on reddit or bass forums coming from players having the same problem with these strings...

I wished I knew about that before buying this set (58€ at the time of writing the review) and I wished Thomann knew about it and simply removed this string set from their offering (because now that's almost 60€ thrown in the garbage for me).
