Kemper’s profiling technology enables the creation of an exceptionally accurate sonic profile of an existing amplifier setup, including cabinet and microphone configuration. With extensive internal processing options—such as multiple stompbox emulations (up to four simultaneously), master effects, EQ, gain control, amp definition, power sagging, and more—the captured sound can be refined far beyond the capabilities of the original amplifier. The Kemper Profiling Amplifier comes equipped with an extensive library of high-quality amplifier profiles, so creating your own is optional rather than necessary. For the first time, it is possible to faithfully replicate the sound of your own amplifier, modify it as needed, and use it for studio work or live performance—without the physical burden of transporting the original amp.
