Isovox Mobile Vocal Booth V2

I bought this as a portable mic booth for doing vocals and voice-over work.

The insulation is very good and really does deaden the sound inside. It's superb for singing, where you can afford a little bit of bleed. For V-O work, where bleed is more critical, you still have to be careful - put a mat/carpet beneath the stand, for example, and still be aware of the odd peak of your performance bouncing back if the external environment is very hard (ie bare walls and hard floors).

There's not much room inside for your script in the booth itself, though the LED lighting strip is a useful feature if you're doing single page reads. I found using a phone or mini iPad best, but difficult with manual scrolling mid-performance.

It's still a bit heavy when it's put together, but definitely the best to get if you haven't got access to a full size booth, and/or you're on-the-move.
