This is for connecting 2 pipe ends with each other.
I use it to connect 2 pipes with a slight angle into one longer side wing.

Works beautifully. I have had this for months installed onto my hi-hat stand, with this clamp placed in between, and the other pipe attached to the center of the tom holder right above the base drum.

Both are Gibraltar 60 cm curved side wings.

I have a percussion pad attached on pipe 1, left of the hi-hat, and a cymbal boom on pipe 2, right from the hi-hat.
Instead of 2 short pipes, I could use one long pipe and wouldn't need this clamp, but for me that would require a bigger hardware case just for 1 pipe, and I didn't want that.

This thing is only for horizontal pipe attachtment.
I use a leveler app to check if it's straight.
I only wished they had this in a chrome version too.
