The GW-Semi-hollow Guitar Case, with its durable plywood construction and classy brown covering made of humidity-resistant Tolex, is an affordable way to transport and store guitars such as the instruments from the Gibson ES series safely over an extended period of time.

Custom-built for semi-hollowbodies guitars

The Gator product range offers a huge selection of custom-made cases for almost every type of guitar. The GW-Semi-hollow Guitar Case was developed specifically for semi-hollowbody guitars and is constructed to accommodate instruments of such and similar designs. A sturdy handle has been attached to ensure that the case is perfectly balanced when carried, while the slightly arched lid also provides the best possible protection for the guitar's top. The interior contains a padded and velvety-soft inner lining, providing both a perfect fit and optimum protection from scratches thanks to its soft surface and additional cloth. Moreover, the case contains a storage compartment for important utensils such as strings, picks, and tuners - or the occasional can of beer.

The Gator GW-Semi-hollow Guitar Case is suitable for all musicians with a semi-hollowbody guitar, such as one from the Gibson ES series, who travel a lot and attach great importance to transporting their delicate equipment as safely as possible. Although hardly more expensive than a decent gig bag, this case offers considerably better protection and is the ideal companion for beginners on their way to lessons as well as for professionals whose instruments tend to vanish underneath bulky boxes on the tour bus. The sturdy handle facilitates transport in an optimally balanced position while the velvety-soft inner lining, complete with an additional cloth, effectively protects the instrument from scratches.

About Gator

Gator, or Gator Cases, is an American firm founded in 2000 by father-daughter team Jerry Freed and Crystal Morris in Tampa, Florida. Initially, Gator began with a modest range of moulded plastic guitar cases. From there, they expanded the product line to include case and bag solutions for the whole field of instruments and equipment. A wide variety is covered: Instruments, microphones, and all aspects of live performance, including lighting equipment. At the same time, products for other media areas such as photo and video are also available. All products are made of high-quality plastics, wood, textiles, and EVA materials. The Gator companies also include flight case manufacturer Viking Cases and guitar strap manufacturer Levy's Leathers Ltd., as well as Gator Rackworks and Gator Frameworks.

The Gator GW-Semi-hollow Guitar Case shows its potential mainly when transport requires a bit of rough handling - and the classy semi-hollow guitar must therefore be perfectly protected. The shock-resistant outer shell made of multi-layer plywood with its durable brown Tolex covering can easily withstand even the hardest of knocks. If, on the other hand, the instrument is to be stored for long periods of time in the cellar or rehearsal room where conditions are not ideal, the case also rises effortlessly to the occasion. In this way, a guitar can be stored for extended periods of time and well protected from external influences, embedded in soft plush. Naturally, the GW-Semi-hollow Guitar Case is also equipped with a lock to prevent unauthorised access.
