Elektron Digitakt II

Nice little box to generate quick ideas and jam by mangling sounds. Sampling is dead easy: I plug in my phone, sample random stuff and start playing with filters, envelopes and LFO's to generate patterns via the built-in sequencer.
I'm new to Elektron and found the interface quite straight forward for basic tasks. I also found the manual quite comprehensive and well written, although somewhat too descriptive and not enough geared towards practical use cases.
The sequencer looks ok but can get quite confusing when lots of p-locks are recorded on a track. I sometimes found myself erasing a track to record it all over again, rather than editing p-locks individually.
It's not the greatest sampler of all times though: the grid mode does not let one edit individual start/end points for instance, a surprisingly basic
but missing feature that makes manual chopping a bit cumbersome.

Still very much recommended for people like me who can't stand computer screens and need a more "organic" approach to making music.
