Good for mellow sound
The pedal is not transparent, it adds some warm and eat a bit of the attack. The good thing is there is no noise gate, so you have more hiss & noise compared to some other booster that have a tendency to make things less noisy but make the sound thinner.
Wether it's good or bad to have the vintage warm added to your sound is up to you. I found on Fender amp it was nice to add some mid. You can tame that a bit by lowering the bass EQ on this "Plus" version.
The EQ knob are covering too wide areas for me. It's not possible to scoop mids, low or high treble.
Turing up the low will add low mid you may not want to have a fat sound.
The EQ knobs are very sensitive so turning 1hour is already a very large impact and I don't go beyond.
The boost range is big, you have plenty more than needed. I don't use it beyond mid range as my amp (JCM800studio) would start to add extra saturation effect which I don't want.
