I have been using the standard teardrop shaped Gator Grip picks for around 5 years now, mostly .96 and 1.14 -- for both acoustic and electric guitar. I decided to try this small triangle version, in both 1.0 and .88. I am very happy with them, and the 1.0 triangle is now my favourite pick.
They have excellent sound, playability, and grip. I don't really like most big triangle picks, but these small triangles are different. They feel light and agile. They are very precise for single note picking, but also great for strumming chords.
The only negative point is the lack of different colours - both the .88 and 1.0 are the same black colour. So it is hard to tell them apart, especially as the writing starts to wear off. And it would be great if Dunlop also offered a Gator Grip Small Triangle in a higher gauge, like 1.25 or 1.30.
