Great micro-boom for car rig and plant mic

I have bought two DPA 4097 mainly for car Rig to use with lectrosonics transmitter, it’s just the faster and simplest plant mic to use for car rig on viser. The quality is good but could be a little bit stronger especially when you adjust the gooseneck, I have one of my DPA 4097 that thread between the gooseneck and the microdot broke but still usable. The shock mount accessories are replaceable but not cheap. The sound is pretty good more tailed for human voice, it won’t replace an expensive DPA 4018 or my MKH 50 but for the size, the price and the fast use, there is nothing that beat it. I have also 2 Sanken Cub 01 but I prefer the sound of the DPA 4097. To recommend for anyone who works in films and have to mic up a car fast!
