I can confirm what some user reviews have mentioned.
This footswitch is a disgrace.
Most of the time, the amp doesn’t recognize it, so it doesn’t turn on. You have to unplug and plug it back in, sometimes even multiple times. I’ve even had to turn the amp off and on several times.
Several times, certain functions have randomly frozen and become inaccessible.
No cable is included, which is a shame given the price. And keep in mind that with certain cables, it simply doesn’t work!
In short, you buy an amp for 1,899 euros but are forced to spend an additional 188 euros plus the cost of a cable on something that ultimately doesn’t work.
Luckily, Thomann has great customer service.
But it’s about time Peter Diezel looked into this, because this is a recurring issue with this footswitch. Peter even told me to send it back to Thomann when I explained the symptoms to him via email.
