Quality issue

The bow was delivered well packaged but unfortunately It had a small defect/ quality issue. There was a small gap/hole between the tip plate and ebony liner. I have not seen anything like that before . This gap could have affected the quality and the performance of the bow in the long term. It didn’t look like a damage due to the transit but it looked like a quality issue/ lack of attention to details from the maker in terms of finishing.

A beautifully balanced bow with excellent fittings, good quality hair and a perfectly straight stick. The craftsmanship is fantastic. This is a bow that I would be happy to spend three times the price on. I am a very happy cellist.
