beyerdynamic DT-250/250

I like these headphones, I have been using them for some time, now: good neutral sound quality, light and not oversized, seem to be pretty sturdy. However, after some time the headband starts to be a tad bit painful on the head.

I use them for general studio work (tracking, mixing), for listening to music and for electronic drums.

My biggest problem is the cable. It comes with a curled/coiled cable which is quite irritating, really. It is attached on the left side of the headphones and acts like a spring. Stretching the cable in reality is not an option as it pulls heavily on the left side of the headphones. So, in reality, you have a very limited length cable which is very thick and often in the way.

I think they should be equipped with a straight cable as the standard cable and if you want to, have a coiled cable as a replacement-option instead of the other way around.
