Bartolini 5-string J-Bass Set Black

I bought the Bartolini 5-String J-Bass Set (Black) as an upgrade for my J&D 5-string J-style bass, and the difference is immediately noticeable.

The tone is warm, clear, and very well balanced, with a much tighter and more defined low B string compared to the original pickups. Noise is significantly reduced, and the overall sound has more depth and clarity. Both fingerstyle and slap playing sound cleaner and more controlled.

Build quality is excellent, as expected from Bartolini, and the pickups fit perfectly into the J-Bass routing of my J&D bass. Installation was straightforward, and the black covers give the instrument a more professional, premium look.

Overall, this pickup set completely elevated my J&D bass and made it sound far more expensive than it is. Highly recommended if you’re looking to upgrade a budget or mid-range 5-string J-Bass.
