Saved my back and shoulders
klnev 26.06.2018
A great alternative to the hard shell Hiscox cases I see most people using for classical guitars. This case is the definition of comfort. I do a lot of walking to gigs and rehearsals & found the Hiscox case was taking a toll on my hands and shoulders, particularly when carrying an amp or stand in tow. The shoulder straps are padded and comfortable and the case itself is remarkably light without sacrificing a whole lot of protection. Being able to throw the guitar, sheet music and even (when I'm teaching) a laptop into the one case has been a lifesaver.

Protection-wise, I was impressed with the generous foam padding on that cushions the sides and top of the guitar. The foam is rigid and provides more than enough shock absorption to protect the guitar if the case should fall over. My one critique is that there is next to no foam padding on bottom of the case. I presume this is a weight-issue and, because this is the side that rests on your back, there's not a whole lot of need for protection there. But I'd be careful putting it in overhead shelves in trains and things and still use the Hiscox for longer journeys. Still I've used the case daily for almost two years now without any incident, so overall the protection is pretty excellent for a softshell.

Material-wise, I live in Ireland and I can put my hand over my heart and say the case and all its pockets are rain-proof! The zips all use a water-proof seal so sheet music is always safe. I spend half of my year walking in the rain and can vouch the material of the case itself has proven itself pretty rain-proof also.

Aesthetically, the caramel scuffs very easily and is difficult to keep clean. I would go for a darker colour if you're inclined to bang your case about at all. The one other drawback is that the plastic buckles in the straps do an ungoldly amount of squeaking. I can be heard coming from a mile off. Running for a bus or train has never been so comical. WD40 has helped but needs regular application. Might just be my case, but I thought I'd add it in here just in case. I'm sure it's possible to remedy though.

Overall very impressed and I really can't over-emphasise the difference the case has made to my back being so light and portable. The multiple generous pockets are terrific. The protection against everyday knocks and even falls is top-notch for a softshell and the water-resistance is excellent. Would highly recommend for any guitarist doing a lot of travel on a daily basis.

Demasiado caro para a qualidade que oferece!
MAbran 10.05.2019
Pontos positivos:
+ Leve e fácil de transportar
+ O instrumento (guitarra clássica) fica razoavelmente protegido durante o transporte.
