A new mouthpiece goes a long way

I bought this for my wife who is learning to play an Alto sax bought from Thomann. As a student past the beginner stage, it's taken a week or so for her to get used the new piece and get it under control. However the overall tone of the sax is fuller and richer than with the original mouthpiece. We were both surprised at how much this has improved the sound.

As usual, Thomann did a great job and this along with other items I ordered was received in the UK just 3 days after I placed the order. Like all Yamaha items the mouthpiece is beautifully made and finished.

Great classical mouthpiece

Never thought I could find a mouthpiece to better Vandoren, but my Yamaha 4CM greatly outperforms my new Vd A15. It has a big rounded sound with a dark quality, with dynamics ranging from a sweet piano to a menacing fortissimo! It feels like it was made for my Yamaha 62 alto - possible because it was!
A brilliant mouthpiece for a knockdown price.

Good student mouthpiece

Good quality mouthpiece for beginners,an upgrade from a 4C.Nice warm sound with Vandoren 1.5 or 2 traditional reeds.Tuning and response good.5CM better for experienced players,4CM ideal for students. Recommended.
