I have had this audio interface for a year or more, I record and work through it exclusively and often.
The sound is clean, as clean as any other interface in the price range I think, I compared it with another interface that is much cheaper, and do not hear any improvement in the sound quality, but it is definitely less noisy.
It does not feel cheap, but doesn't feel premium either. It is fine. The cap over the monitoring knob falls out, it is not glued to the knob, but I only noticed that after mistakenly rotating the interface upside down and shaking it a little, perhaps a small hit over it provoked the cap to fall. Noticed this after many months.
Now the worst part.
the 4k button is a gimmick that can be easily replicated with plugins. I never use it.
The metering on the inputs is awful. It is set in 10 db increments, clipping is at 0, and the next metering light is at -10, the next one is at -20. Very hard to set a level in a desired spot of -6db peaks and -14db average.
All of this of course is manageable after getting used to the knobs and how each microphone reacts with the preamps. I hardly check the meters anymore, as I just know what levels my microphones want to be with the preamp.
Overall 4 stars. Manageable, looks pretty, does it's job. If you care about sound first and foremost, and don't mind learning the interface's behavior for a while, it will do very well.
