My new favourite
This is my second Sela. I like the distinct sounds I can get from it - deep pronounced bass and crisp snare sounds is ideal for modern drum patterns. Not as loud and pronounced as the Schlagwerk Agile Pro though. In the mix, the snare sound on the Sela can get lost, whereas the Agile sounds much louder. Not an issue if mic'ed.
There are the added clap corners for more variety in sound. I also installed a second snare head for some a more defined snare sound. Its super easy to remove/add. Sela sell replacement parts too, which would come in handy in the future.
