Clean channel would only stay clean when the channel gain and volume were almost completely off (wide option added gain to the clean too, causing break-up), and I use low output pickups... Since the clean and crunch share the tone stack, I couldn't get a satisfactory sound out of either channel. Lead channel was awesome, though. Overall, the different gain stages felt more like adding a drive pedal to boost, but without the actual ability to control any options on that pedal (gain, volume, tone). For an amp at this price range, I had expected to be wowed by every aspect, this was sadly not the case, so I returned the amp. Footswitch was absurdly light and moved around on my floor when activating, other than that, amp looked nicely built.
