ObsidianWire SC Ultimate Solderless Harness

The harness is very high quality built. I take out one star because of the solderless connector system it has that is difficult to use and does not look very stable, especially with thin pickup wires. For the rest it’s flawless.

Sound wise it gives a lot of options (split / series / parallel pickups / out of phase), plus 50s/60s wiring. It’s not a true Jimmy Page wiring, but it’s close enough, without the mess. There is only one quirk : when the « pickups in series » pot is pulled, and the selector switch is in « bridge », the pickup is silent (can be used as a killswitch).

I purchased also a pair of pre-assembled molex PicoBlade (218111-0502) connectors, so I could install it in my Gibson with quick connect pickups without stripping the connector.
Please mind that these only fit Gibson Les Pauls. Other Les Pauls will need some level of modification.
