Great value
A good looking and playable Fender for a few hundred euros, what’s not to like?
I really like playing this guitar, especially after I restrung it (I prefer a lighter gauge) and the neck did need slight adjustment. The finishing leaves a small amount to be desired here and there (some sharp edges on the higher frets and some glue oozes along the bridge) but nothing to stop you having fun;)
The pick-up string balance is a little uneven but a touch of compression can cure that. Recording the guitar with a mic and DI simultaneously gave very useable results. The scale and size makes for a tight and bright sound that is not boomy in the low end.
So all round I can definitely recommend this one;)
