Fender Acoustasonic Standard Tele HSB

I’m very dissapointed with this guitar, this is probably something the worst instrument that Fender made, i will start with paint, i had this guitar for 2 months and it looks like i’ve had it for few years, only strumming with a pick destroyed paint at the place where the pickguard should be. It feels like every time i pick it up some paint falls off. It’s very easy to make bumps on it because wood quality is poor.


Sound as expected was bad unplugged it’s the same as electric guitar so the hole does not really make sense, if its plugged in Piezzo does not have the real acoustic sound it just sounds too “electric”, Humbucker is OK, if you use it as clean sound ( distortions sound bad ), it’s OK too if you use it as live instrument but there is still a lot of Buzz, for me is totaly useless to use in studio, and somehow this guitar break strings so fast that i’m replacing it every week almost,…. And it came “ungrounded” so every time i was playing it and touched microphone i got electric shocks in my face,….


Some would expect that for this price you will get a good instrument, but this one is overal very bad, i have some Harley bentons for a lot of years now and in comparison to this Fender they rock, so i’m very dissapointed, i even feel bad selling it because i know if i sell it i won’t sell a good instrument

2020, I bought American Acoustasonic Stratocaster Dakota Red. I return it after 2 days because of some issues. Also, I wasnt happy with the color. In my opinion, its more orange than red. For that price, I expected guitar with no any issues. Later I realize Im not the only one with similar experience.

2023, I bought Player Telecaster during the Black Friday. The guitar was really good, but I sold it couple months ago for the same price what I have paid it.

3 weeks ago, I bought Standard Telecaster Honey Burst. I put transparent pickguard which is removable (no glue, nano technology). Also, I upgrade it with Fender locking tuners, Bigrock power pins, and Fender deluxe gigbag. I use D'Addario Nickel Bronze 10-47. Those strings are made for Acoustasonic guitars. Also, for overdriven sound, I use TC Electronic MojoMojo pedal.
