Greetings, everyone!

My new Denis Wick Ultra Heroes mouthpiece in size 4 has arrived!

Until now, I had been using the SMU3X, but it turned out to be too large for me. This new Heroes series is absolutely brutal — in the best way possible. The instrument vibrates beautifully, with a stable and warm character. I can confidently say that updating the SM series was a brilliant idea! The SM4UH is top quality and the best choice I've made. You could even say it's the "golden middle way."

They really nailed the bore size too — the air just blasts through it! The rim fits the lips comfortably and naturally. I suppose the groove on the shank helps with resonance — not sure if that was intentional, but it works!

If you're looking to get the most out of your playing, I can wholeheartedly recommend this piece. It's not cheap — I’ll have to keep sweet-talking my wife for a while 😅 — but honestly, it’s so worth it. Hats off to the designers!
