Daddario NYXL55110 Bass Set

Good lord. These are some solid sound strings, and big thicc friendos.
Even after playing for 15 years, moving up to this set with this gauge caused my fingers to feel it!
But despite great clarity and solid chunky sound, the G string snapped above the nut before I even got it CLOSE to tune. No sweat, I had my previous one still about.
If you want reliable sound, when playing metal/punk and frequently de-tune and retune, these are the ones. Still held when constantly going up from drop C to Standard and honestly carry sound so well.
The G may not take it, but that E will take a SOLID THUMPING.
